I'm not sure if I started this in the right spot or if a similar thread already exists, but after a few searches I haven't found anything. I'm having difficulties with finding clothes that fit well since being in a wheelchair. The main issue is pants/shorts - since 2012 I have basically been wearing sweatpants and I'm sick of it. I really like to look good when I go out in public and as I'm sure you all can relate, sweatpants always feel underdressed.
Do any of you know of clothing that works and is comfortable/functional for doing ICs? Jeans are a no-go because I have too much sensation and they're hard on skin. Does anyone in the GTA/Southern Ontario know of a good tailor who can properly size me for a suit? It's time to create a new wardrobe!
Great question chris! I mainly wear sweatpants too and adapted jeans which I got online from the UK but you should try www.izadaptive.com which is a place from Toronto that I've heard good stuff about. I've never been there but you should definately see what they can do!
That site is really cool DJ ! $90 for a shirt is a bit high but I'll look into it. Mainly I'm just looking for a suit/nice outfit that fits comfortably.
Without hard times in life, we would never know the true feeling of happiness.

Do you have issues with shirts? I have no problem with tops really, I just wear whatever and it's fine.
DJ Not really, the only issue I might have is when trying to get a dress shirt that's long enough in the arms but short in the torso. Then again, I usually bunch up the sleeves at my elbows

Don't they have writing on the left leg? The one's at Amazon showed that. Inseam of 34" is great for me, but most women and many men could not wear that long.
