Bought a bottle of vetericyn to flush catheter for my 99 year old dad with a suprapubic. The darn bottle cost me over 40 dollars for only 16 ounces. How much do I flush with in terms of cc and how often. I would like to see him reach 100 years of age without having to deal with constant infections and the need for antibiotics!

honey, I know you have read the thread we have on this subject but i have a link that you may find helpful. It has user comments and some include dilutes that they use. It may be worth taking a look.
The site is for saline use information but this vetericyn is discussed.

Wow almost 100, that's amazing, congrats! When I use it, I normally use about 150cc to flush the bladder with and after draining that I put in and keep about 50cc.

Honey, here is a website with an extensive dialogue regarding the use of Vetericyn for bladder care. There are a lot of pages but well worth the read. I have been using it for about a year with excellent results.
