I've seen these somewhere before and have forgotten all about them! These are very cool and useful for those living in cold/snowy areas. Pushing in snow is extremely difficult because of the casters sinking in and by having these skis, it'd make things so much easier!

Why not?

Probably too much friction. People use beach tires and Freewheel on sandy places here, but probably not as rocky or thorny as where you are, Butiki. These might work with Freewheel: www.sportaid.com/kenda-nevegal-black-knobby-wheelchair-tires.html. Top-of-the-line: lashersport.com/pages/chairs/btbeach/btbeach.html, or better yet, lashersport.com/pages/chairs/btx/btx.html. Isn't your all-terrain chair working out?

We don't get much snow here. I think the last time it snowed here there where dinosaurs wondering around.
