I thought it would be good to look at a Poll and see if we are all exercising enough
Im sure we have so many discussions of the forum about the importance of exercise and upkeep of stretches as a daily routine but this will help us analyze how much exercise is being kept up with.

I tend to exercise for an hour a day but i have my equipment at home now rather than going to the gym. I love using my rower, it has def helped my strength!
I handcycle 4 times a week for 1-2 hours depending on my next race distance. I swim once a week for an hour. I work out at Walk It Off for 2 hours 3 times a week, and have incorporated a weight routine into my session. I walk my Guide dog every day. For me movement and exercise is the only thing that helps with pain. I don't eat much as the pain makes me nauseous but I still have the "quad belly".??? At least my wife didn't marry me for my looks.

2x a week weights, bands, kettle ball, medicine ball, floor exercises. Been trying to get 3x a week, but it's been hit and miss. Not pushing as hard as in the beginning, there is a line where I'm not much good the rest of the week if I do.

Ah yes, i know what you mean kilg0retr0ut, better to keep some energy and strength too!
I am easing into restarting my at-home workouts before I decide to jump into full-on physical therapy again. I have a lot more energy now after a medication adjustment, but I don't want to overwork my body and risk hurting myself, so I feel that easing a workout into my routine will make the transition from home to a therapy gym a lot easier than in the past.
I work out with Free weight every other day. I switch up chest and back one day and the next is shoulders/arms. I do use a standing glider religiously every day for 30 minutes. Off days I like to do a few sets of pull-ups. Has worked for me and keeps me really strong with the free weights.
. Hopefully this picture came out. it shows how i do pull-ups. I always have someone asking. I purchased an eight foot fire rope/ladder. I pull myself up to the top bar and do pullups. Works great.
That's some great upper body strength you got there joemonte, good stuff!
I use the standing glider twice a week for about an hour each time. All of my muscle strengthening I get from wheeling and from physio at Walk It Off. They got a new workout machine, not sure what it's called though (kevin might know) but I love it!
