So it is in the high 80's and low 90's here. My legs are still freezing cold and hurt. At night I use a heating pad to warm them up enough to sleep (I remove the heat pad before sleep though)... This is just one more part of nerve pain. Anyone else temperature sensitive?
My legs and feet are mostly cold but my feet burn tonka, I never know that my feet are cold. I have a habit of not wearing socks or shoes at home and my mom visits and always comes after me with a pair of socks.
It actually hurts putting socks on, my skin is hypersensitive...but she always touches my feet as she passes and remarks how cold they are and then on they go! lol
My feet go blue sometimes, we use a heat pad at the foot end of the bed at night now that we are heading into winter, I don't get burning just aching feet.
I have burning pain from knees down most of the time. In the winter, I heat my house 50-55F/10-13C. My legs hurt much less then if I am up and active, even if in chair. If I am inactive, I put a lightweight fleece blanket over my legs and they spazz less. I must sleep with extra blankets on my legs to keep them warm, although I do not feel them being cold, so they do not spazz when I am inactive--this is in summer and winter. My legs can feel burning and be cool to the touch, or feel cold and be normal to touch. Makes no sense! My circulation is excellent, thanks to spastic movements that I do not medicate away entirely because of this benefit and also keeping some tone in the muscles, so they do not totally atrophy.
My feet usually feel like they're burning when it's actually not. Something I feel like I'm freezing but the rest of my body is warm. Spinal cord injuries are very strange!
I also have burning sensation from my knees down inspire of my legs and feet being cold. I wear cargo shorts most of the time because my legs are hypersensitive.

My legs used to be totally insensitive, and then changes began about a year and a half ago that swung to hypersensitivity below my waist. Strangely, wearing compression hose below the knee protects my legs from reacting once they are on, but the friction of clothing from waist to knees is a constant irritant, varying between bad, painful itch (like poison ivy) and a second degree burn. My braces look really weird when I wear shorts! And if something touches my skin unexpectedly when wearing shorts, I almost leap in the air.
Welcome raechaelprice, if this is nerve pain related, distraction is a help, nerve pain meds may help. If it is circulation then spend some time with your legs raised, massage and soft thermal socks. I have a foot spa which is nice but makes no difference to nerve pain but I am sure it aids circulation.
Speak to your doctor so they can establish what the cause is and then you will be able to look at options.
I've got cold feet...no pun intended. I found these microwaveable socks on Amazon and I'm quite happy with them. 90 seconds in the microwave and they keep my feet nice and toast warm for over an hour. I got mine on Amazon.fr but they're available on .com as well.
What's your injury level? Most people with spinal cord injuries can't sweat below their injury level unless there's another trigger like autonomic dysreflexia (AD) which is causing you to sweat. If it's the AD that's causing it, you have to find out what's triggering it. Sometimes your shoes being too tight can trigger it and that can also restrict circulation which could make them feel cold.
