I hear the white water rafting is wild and the scenery is beautiful. The town close by is called Tirawa and its close to the town of Komani.

I loved white water rafting on the wildest rivers. I heard because of the hydro plants in Albania and parts of the balkin regions , the rivers are a category 5 plus all the time. That is some really raging waters. Even being Sci its a blast to go.

Do you have a death wish?!!!!! (Just kidding...) At high water, there are class 5 rivers much closer to where you live. Ever been on the Youghiogheny River? At high water, there are spots in the Upper Yough which can give you all the thrills you would want! If you are serious about wanting to do this, I know an experienced and safety conscious river guide in Friendsville, MD who I could connect you to.

This spot in Albania does sound pretty rad, but I wouldn't want to get injured there and not make it home...
