Have You Considered a Power Assisted Wheelchair?

This is most definitely something to consider as a longterm function-able form of mobility especially if you have some ability to self propel.

We know that over a period of time, our shoulders and wrists can show significant signs of wear and tear and damage from over use. Our shoulders take the weight already for transfers and then we use for self propelling also. 

This is a serious issue that consequently impacts on daily like and independence. A power assisted wheelchair seems to be a great option for this issue, it also allows you to propel manually and then to use the power as you require.

This is certainly something that I will look into as although I have the upper limb function, there are times when its so damn hard to propel and I hate asking for assistance at all...This would therefor give independence from this.


This chair still allows us to remain active and exercise and gives us the extra assistance when required!

Anyways, take a look at this video clip, it shows how easy it is to use this chair and is so much more less bulky than a regular power chair.
