It's weird because my toes feel like they're burning most of the time (even now while I'm lying in bed with my toes exposed) but the weather doesn't really do anything to me other then overheat me in general.

You're the only person to bring up wind affecting pain! I thought I was nuts, but wind really cranks it up for me. Big wind makes me uneasy in general, so I thought maybe it was just a stress reaction. But wind often signals changes in weather, so maybe there is something else going on.
