Of course we all know how important wheelchair sports are but I realized the positive impact the sport has on individuals with Spinal Cord Injury after reading this article.
It is good to see a government representative in a position of power and influence actually making a difference. I would love to see more politicians spending several days in a wheelchair, especially those who are responsible for bringing new incentives with disability related issues.
It looks like Morocco is set up for their first wheelchair sports games and thats wonderful. When I played rugby in rehab, it was an amazing feeling and is great for self esteem.
This article is more than just about the sport, its about one man who decided to humble himself for the good of others and it sounds ;like he did a pretty amazing job!
