Hey guys As part of my medical negligence case i am going for a neurosurgeon appointment 200 miles away. I will be examined by my doctor's neurosurgeon who will prepare a report to form their defence.
Im not looking forward to this one as i have to repeat all the events that i can only describe as a nightmare and the worst time of my life. I have opted to not stay in a nearby hotel to the hospital as i wanted to be home the same day so it will be a tiring one as well as stressful .
As i had short notice for today i could not find anyone to accompany me but i am assured that my solicitors have provided me with a very friendly and sociable driver...lol
Hopefully i can still get internet access on the motorway so i can still get onto the forum and post..plus i don't want to miss anything..im way too nosey! lol
I shall report back after..hope you all have a great day!!
The appointment was just under two hours! Gruelling! Just the usual 100 questions and the motor power and pin prick tests...he tried his best to get a reflex from my ankles but nothing lol...good job that hammer wasn't a builders hammer
It took 5 hours there and 5 back but at least the driver was pleasant and made the journey not seem so bad. Hopefully this was the last examination i have needed for my claim....!!
So just chilling now with a hot drink and my doggie...
DJ...my mind was a little fuzzy but we wont mention any more on that subject!
ridingdirty, that's exactly what I deal with when seeing my surgeon! I saw him a few weeks ago and he ended up coming TWO HOURS LATER than when he was suppose to see us! He probably stayed a full 8 minutes then he was off to the next person. After that last follow up he discharged me from future follow ups unless I want to see him again. He's a good guy but too busy! He's probably the only guy I'd wait 3 extra hours to see
