After ten days of accident my back hurts when I make sudden moves. I even experience extreme pain in my neck, head and back. Is it related to spinal cord injury? Has anyone here been through it? One of my friend suggested me a registered physiotherapy clinic in Mississauga (Physio Now). I get the pain frequently. Can anyone suggest me the right path to choose? I’m really confused. Thank you.
What you are mentioning has commonalities with my son, but not all the time, there are days where the slightest jolt sends him into worlds of pain, when he has a UTI as he does right now it's majorly exacerbated, the way he describes it (he's 7) is a thousand ants inside his spine biting him. When it happens at home he asks me to rub his back directly up and down his spine but very lightly, he says it's not perfect but it helps a lot.
Did you go to the hospital after your accident? If you had a spinal cord injury they would have diagnosed you with it and you would know of it. If you didn't go to the hospital, I'd suggest you go to one and do some scans to make sure that there's no spinal cord damage before you do any massage.

Welcome edward1 I agree with Dj. If you haven't been looked at it sounds like you should. Do you have any bowel or bladder issues? There are lots of new and different pains that come with a SCI, many can be treated with exercise and if severe enough with medication. Pain sucks, unfortunately it's part of having a SCI , it's always with you, you try to keep it at bay.
Well, Accidents are the leading cause of spinal cord injuries. pain or stiffness in the neck, back area are signs of spinal injury. If you believe that you have sustained a spinal cord injury then going to a doctor may help a lot and have some diagnosis as if the injury is severe, then it may also lead to spinal surgery nj.
