Hey there gang! Sorry I have been MIA but full time school and full time job have kept me rather busy the past few months. I have a month break and then back at it again!
I had a follow up with my Urologist today and he said everything is looks very good! No blood or infection in my urine which had a been a constant problem until I found a Urologist familiar with SCI patients! I haven't used a cath in years so we checked to make sure I am emptying like I should. I didn't get the amount but he said I am emptying as good as a "normal" person.
I do have to push to get a good stream but with the use of my Flomax I don't have to push to the point my eye balls are about to pop out like before. It still doesn't flow on its own but there are a lot of things we deal with that just won't work on its own.
I hope all is well with everyone else and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!!!
Hey jeff1967, great to hear from you again! I'm happy to hear that things have been better for you and that you've been keeping busy.
Bladder issues are the worst so it's good that you're emptying well without having to cath. I have to go see my urologist soon. It's been a while since I keep skipping my appointment. I hate going there, it's torture lol.
Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Be sure to come by more
For once in my life I am actually doing what the doctor says but he insisted on a renal scan/ultrasound within 6 months. He said even though everything seems to be fine he wants to make sure we don't have any issues considering my condition. So I pushed it out the entire 6 months LOL.

I've been dreading my upcoming appointment with the urologist. I'm always worried I'll have to begin cathing more. Good to hear from you Jeff, and I'm glad your staying busy.

I know the day is coming that I will have to start again but I am hoping that if I keep doing what he AND my ultimate caregiver (my wife) tells me then maybe I can prolong it a while.
Hope all is going well for you kilg0retr0ut, and Merry Christmas to you and the family!!

Since I did nearly nothing I was supposed to for 18 years I felt (with a big push from my wife) that my way wasn't working too well so I tried there way and I have felt 100% better ever since LOL
