I'm not sure if it'd be CES since you know what happened that caused this. Seem like your spine was weak and gave out while under load and as a result damaged your cord.

So that was your final diagnosis huh? Did they ever tell you if recovery is possible?
My CES was diagnosed as siatica for a week, even after three visits to our ED, they. Would not give me a CAT scan, then on the fourth visit they did a scan and found that I may have CES, but it was too late by then, I was paralysed at about four the following morning.
