I had the opportunity this past November to try out indoor sky diving. You have to check this out. www.indoorskydivingsource.com/. You can see if there is a center in your area. They are all over the world and many in the U.K. . I turn 53 this year and have a bucket list. This one I checked off. It was a wild two minute ride but I had to do it. I thought it would be easier than jumping out of an airplane.
Thanks DJ for fixing the pic. Yes it was a blast and pretty amazing flying in the air. One of the safety instructors held my feet so my legs didn't fly all over. It was a great experience for one time. As I said, I was able to take out one notch on my bucket list.
It was a blast and I am glad I had the opportunity. I know you Dive and that is my next task on my list. I found a place not to far from me who will certify me for diving. I will probably start this summer. I want to get my certification to go when I travel somewhere or to florida. I will then work on some equipment. Might take me a couple years but its my next goal. Take care and have a great weekend.
Well if I was close I would hook up with you. live in Northeastern, Pa. but going to be training in Syracuse , N.Y. They have Certified instructors who can teach and certify me. I checked it out. They have a really nice indoor facility and then do their open dives up in the 1000 islands. Looking forward to it. Once I am set, I will have to touch base. I want to spend sometime in Key Largo.
We do Key Largo often...probably has the best diving in the continental US. I would plan on June thru October time frame....that's when the water is at the warmest and clearest.
