Hello all I had my injury after a fall in oct 2014. Since them I have recovered so much, but now there seems no help for me too even not been stood up or looked at my recovery? I bet this is the story for many SCI recovery people around the world! It's sad when you feel and know your body is changing, where before I couldn't even sit up or feel my bowels movement. Well I just keep being positive and try my hardest too get into a Spinal injuries centre in London UK.
Progress is way too slow in London, I see but there's hope. I'm t9 then t11 but I'm sure I'm different now.

Your doctor can refer you to the nearest SCI unit, have you made a visit to tell your doctor this? To answer your other question, things change and in regards to progress, its a worldwide issue, rather than regional!
