I have always thought how useful it would be to have my own ultrasound scanner for my bladder but I had always imagined they cost a fortune. How great it would it be to manage my own bladder completely.
I say this because I have regular visits from the 'inco' nurse- bladder nurse. She checks what is left in my bladder after my catheterizing and voiding (as I tend to do the two now).
She uses one of these machines that are portable and its very easy to use but just imagine how tempting it would be too ultrasound other parts lol Oh well, less of that and really I am not advising that members get one of these and not take advice from a urologist at all but it would be a useful piece of equipment to have in addition, especially for those who do void themselves also.
