I just started using the RT300 FES cycle in physical therapy and it is improving me in a handful of different ways: aerobic/cardiac workout, hips and other joint workouts, circulation (probably), spasticity. I went through the process to purchase a new one, but Restorative Therapies isn't in my health insurance network (they aren't in any insurance network) and the cost is outrageous - $23,000! So I am looking around for used ones a little less expensive. I have some leads, but that's all they are - leads. Thanks. Please PM me or just reply here.
mike try giving some rehab centers a call if they have them and see if they're willing to get rid of them. Sometimes they'd want to get newer machines & upgrade so you might get lucky that way.

Yes, until 2013, the bikes used a 7 inch screen and the Windows mobile operating system. After that, they switched to a 10 inch screen and windows 7. I upgraded my bike, and frankly I don't really see any difference. Mechanics are still the same.
It poking around and you should find one eventually. It is definitely worth the effort. Riding mine is the only time I don't feel totally paralyzed. And I have gained substantial power and increased the girth in my legs. I log all my rides on Strava, with the username 'midtoad'.

Mike, don't know if you ever found a used one or not. But you may be interested to know that there is a another brand of SES bike that is less than half the price, and it is made in the US. the RTI is actually made in Germany and the screen is added on in the US. Check it out, their website is at myolyn.com
