Good catch, hybroanglid! And I had forgotten that. Yes, the red dots are broken capillaries. I take collinsonia root to strenghten veins and capillaries,..not extracts of collinsonia root,...just the simple powder. Taking collinsonia root will also work wonders on hemorrhoids.
6 Proven Collinsonia Root Benefits "...Collinsonia also known as stone-root and horsebalm..." "...These days it is considered very effective in treating a range of conditions related to poor circulation including hemorrhoids and varicose veins..." "...It is used to treat a variety of problems associated with the urinary tract including bladder inflammation and pain and kidney stones. It can also help eliminate the build-up of toxic uric acid and alleviate water retention..."
To be honest, I don't know. But I don't *think* so. At least nothing immediate. That said, I suspect regular edema might weaken those veins. For me, it hasn't been a huge problem, at least not that I know about. But circulation issues can be problematic, so I think you should at least mention it to your doctor next time you see her or him. And in the meantime, you might try compression socks, especially when you know you'll be in your chair for a long time.
And I should totally practice what I preach! LOL ...I'm a terrible example!
I don't take very good care of my legs or feet, and while they swell, they haven't killed me or anybody else yet, so.... 🤓
I actually do wear compression stockings but they're getting old so I don't think they're doing much compressing right now lol. I'll mention it to my doctor next time and see what she has to say. Massaging the feet and legs is probably a good idea every night eh?

I saw you had a post on feet coloration. I spend maybe 70% of my time in a electric bed either watching TV or on my computer. From my shins to my feet are cold but, the color is fine. But, when I get into my wheelchair ( T6-T10 SCT and Tethetef Cord paralyzed I'm 01/11/11. ) my feet turn purplish. Back in bed it goes away. I always have them in a pillow due to edema in the past. Any suggestions anyone?
Others will have more mainstream suggestions, gatorbuffalo. But from me, please look into Marshmallow root. Old-timey pioneer settlers used to grow it beside their front porch...pretty, and a remedy for edema.
I've gone off-topic from "small red spots on feet". Please excuse.
