As a boomer who made it through college in the '60's without ever having tried Marijuana (never saw the need), I find the reports of reduced nerve pain and spasticity interesting. I am curious about consumables as I do not want to reignite my smoking habit. Any information about that type of marijuana would be helpful. Are those types available at the clinics, or only online? If you cook with it, how do you regulate the dosage? Does the cannabis oil come in capsule form?
go to a medical marijuana store, they have creams, tinctures, juices, edibles, vaping,+ many more ways of using, all for the type of relief needed. don't have to smoke it or eat it.

As far as edibles and oils, please take care and focus on those organically manufactured. There are a lot of products out there, but some are not organic.

Pretty much everything is probably available at clinics or online. Another option if you are able would be to make your own. If you follow procedures it is quite easy to regulate dosage. When i was making cookies/brownies each one would have 1/2 gram product in it. For the last 8-9 months i have been making tinctures with 151rum and administer with an eyedropper under the tongue. This is the only edible i know of that you do not have wait for it to kick in therefore very easy to regulate. When making this i am only a few steps away from putting into capsule form.I have no interest in capsules therefore have not read up on it. If interested this is the best place i have found with the most info on edibles (search or ask?) forum.grasscity.com/forums/incredible-edible-herb.667/
went to medical cannabis dr today and I have a medical marijuana use and grow authorization, cost me $55. I got a letter instead of a card which was surprising. will update in a few days of effectiveness and relief of medical marijuana.
I suffer from that stinging neuro pain, no pills, no nothing ever. A belief that my legs are alive and lots of mental tolerance. Neuro Pain to me is a mental state, so the mental is the solution. SCI is all about being able to adapt. i will go further and say thrive to.
That's great, Sam. I'm glad it would grow for you so willingly. Did you do much research on which strain of marijuana you wanted before you bought the seeds? I've never used any, in any form.

hi delboy, to respond I agree with your statement but pain isn't the reason for my usage, it is muscle tenseness and spasticity that is impeding my ability to walk with any confidence and confidence is needed to be successful. I heard medical cannabis is the best way to ease muscle tension. hoping for the most from this path. I also heard muscle tension doesn't just go away either one day and don't want to wait for that possibility.

I purchased "northern lights" seeds, its a hybrid that is mostly indica which is calming relaxant feel and works well with muscle spasticity. it was on sale to, at the time.
Id appreciate the update, my brother use to grow his own many years ago. We could smell it as soon as you walked into his house. I believe that he was growing a Afghanistan strain. It was extremely pungent. But not bad smelling at all.
