Yes, it's very good. And it's an accurate portrayal of what happens when we are trying our best to hurry and "keep up". I sweep like him. I pick things up like him. I get out of bed like him. Only I'm much shorter, so I can't touch the floor like he does. But I'm better at washing dishes than he is...lots of practice. Just one complaint -- why does the title say Quadriplegic Firefighter? His hands and arms seem to function very well. Now if Taanshi would do a Quadriplegic Firefighter, THAT should really go viral!
Hehe vintage wouldn't that be a sight. Or a epic fail more likley. Or just completely inappropriate. Just imagine a waterhose in my mouth ;-) To clarify. Depending on the level. Quads can have some arm wrist and even hand function. Not everyone is a overachiever and goes all the way. Like me ;-)
'There's always something magic, there's always something true. And when you really, really need it the most, that's when rock 'n roll dreams come true.'
Vintage- the man is a quad with typical hand function for some 6-5s or 6. Look more carefully. He has little finger function but has learned to use his hands to maximum effect using arm and wrist muscles. haha Drew, you as an overachiever - that was a one time thing, was it not?
What are you implying tetra ;-) Got to do do some things right. And all the way in life hehe

Charging forward with a hose in your mouth was exactly the mental image I envisioned, Taan. Also, sounding the siren on the fire engine, telling everybody else to hurry up. Of course, you'd probably have to sleep, fully-dressed, in the fire engine in order to ever be ready to go on time. You'd be captain of the search and rescue robot, saving all the family pets.
Good for a laugh but seriously, i ve just met a quad with an excellent job that pays extremely, extremely well. He can outperform any able person i know. Its all about ACAD and knowledge of building regulations. The designs i've seen are mind blowing while he also works from home. . As for me i must master ACAD. i'm so bloody slow.
In hindsight had i still been fully abled i would have loved a career in quantity and land surveying. In the 80ies the technology was still very primitive. The good news is that chair people can have a good earning job and also outperform the fully abled in the design sectors of building civil construction and building services. Working from home is also a great perk to. Don't know how they get paid in your country but here it is 1% from contractors and another 1% from owners. taking it that most build projects are not less than 250,000 euro looks good..
