For college students with autism and other learning disabilities, this is the kind of balancing act that takes place every day — accommodating a disability while also pushing beyond it toward normalcy and a degree, which is increasingly essential for finding a meaningful career.
This is great..there is a mis conception that all disabilities prevent advanced learning...In fact the assessment criteria for Autism is that they display a higher than average intelligence. I supported two students with autism and both were A star students....i had my work cut out supporting them at A level chemistry etc lol
