I am in Australia we just had floods the highest in history and I lost my smart drive it won't work any more so it is being replaced .I never liked it so I am doing a deal with the wheelchair mob to swap it for a batec electric which I pick up tomorrow. What do you guys think of these power assist options are they any good .cheers all Noel
I tried one out for a long weekend but found that I had to disengage it to go into shops and some restaurants. That extra length in front made it difficult to turn. However, it really helped going over bumpy roads such as bricks and cobblestones. I think this new invention called the 'Pop n Drop' looks interesting as the front area is much smaller.
