Have you seen the Freedom Flow II yet? My friend uses it but it does require him to push a button. It is wireless. He puts tube between his legs so the liquid doesn't reach tires.
Great question! It's an issue I also deal with and I haven't really figured out how to empty it myself either. There are some days that I have to stay later at school and my leg bag gets full which means I have to stop drinking water which sucks. That wireless opener works well, I wish there was a more discreet setup though!
I use a JB 3 Leg Bag opener it works great for me & gives excellent independence, check it out at jb-3.com.
Hope its of some help.
This seems like a great option too but I get spasms in my leg that like to kick out so it'd just pull that tubing right off if I were to get a spasm since it's attached to the chair.
I can see your point DJ with the spasms, suppose its whatever works is best. I only use the JB 3 when using my power chair as I can reach down, but in my manual chair I can manage fine emptying into the loo or the into grass as Softballdad suggest
One funny story for you guys before I bought the leg bag emptier I was on a night out & I asked this guy to empty my leg bag into my bottle which was in my backpack. Unfortunately he put the urine bottle back into the backpack, so later that night on my way home I put on my hat which was also in my backpack only for it to be soaked wet not very nice on my head (puke)Had to see the funny side, I rolled over your man the next time I seen him
for this type plastic clamp, I cant use because I cant get hose into plastic clamp with only one good strong hand. I ve tried this clamp, I believe this clamp isn't good for one handed people? or am I wrong?

Getting the tube through it can be a challenge. I squeeze the end going in first to get it started and then it goes on easily. It's a very simple and inexpensive thing.
