I guess I should post the definition of clonus-- "muscular spasm involving repeated, often rhythmic, contractions"
Sam, when you say that your "left foot does it daily at least once", you mean it has a series of spasms, right? I'm affected with it much of my waking time. It's very annoying and even tiring. Thanks for responding.

I don't have it seriously bad, it usually happens when I'm cold and getting in shower cause I have to lift my left leg over the bathtub wall as I sit in shower chair. its a series of repetitive ankle and foot contractions, lasts for 10 to 20 seconds. I usually start cussing out my leg and it will stop eventually, LOL.
Ok. That makes sense. Even though I have mine mostly all the time, if I sit something (like a milk carton) on my stump, then it really goes wild. It would toss a carton of milk into the air!
that must be really annoying, I feel bad for u, I get really mad when I get it, but its only a few times a week I could only imagine the burden of it constantly or most of time.
