I am going to Las Vegas for a week next month. I love the city and everything that goes with it. Plenty to do and see and very wheelchair friendly. What places have you gone on vacation that were particularly wheelchair friendly and accommodating? I need to plan my trip for next year.
I've been to Europe (Spain, Germany) Asia (Hong Kong, South Korea, China, Singapore) and around my home country of Australia (Sydney and Darwin). All wheelchair friendly, but, of course, organisation and planning is always required.
softballdad, only place I've been to since being injured was Cuba and the accessibility where I went was great! I think any popular 5-star South American chain resort in Cuba will do!
EDIT: I don't think American citizens can go to Cuba. I know Obama made ties shortly before leaving office while allowed Americans to vacation there but Trump reversed that as soon as he got into power. That's too bad because you really get the most for your money in Cuba.
Can't give you any travel information because I've never left our state since being injured but have an excellent time. Remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas........lol.
