It is worth looking into.

Waiting on hold is a pain but not the same as getting the run around. It just means they do not have enough volunteers. If you go here, Sam, and browse their partners, you may recognize an organization that might try to meet whatever need you are concerned about.

San Bernardino seems to fall under the LA Catholic Charities. I do not know the LA Archdiocese but, in general, Catholic Charities is a good organization and yes, they serve people outside their faith.

one reason I was thinking of using an organization like this was for a meals on wheels sort of charity, because it is still difficult for me to cook with the use of only 1 good hand. getting tired of froz. burritos and sandwiches.
