I have just finished reading all the posts here and I am not sure which area i belong to ! i can walk a little unaided then My lower back muscles just go in to mega painful muscle spasms then i can not move my legs to go a step forward it just like siezes up. They say fybromyalgia effects the muscles and this as what as happened to me. But all xrays show no injury.

Now I am at the stage where if i don't use it I will lose it completely. My movement standing etc is almost none existant now because of pain and gaining extra weight through lack of movement is only making it worse.

My problem is because of the problem I have I think the doctors just don't know how to treat what they can not see. I also have the muscle problem effecting my eyes. The opticians also can not see why i should be suffering like i do as they can see no reason for it, but boy can i feel it. I just wish i knew others that were as bad as me so we could try and do some sort of exercise plan to help try and work through the muscle pain and get the muscles stronger.

Having an invisable illness sucks and fybromyalgia is the pits. So when i read someone say they don't know where they belong where their disability is concerned I know how they feel. I do not have anyone on my site who is in a wheel chair because of their fybromyalgia !! I guess i am looking for a place to fit in thank you for having me.

Sorry if that sounds like a pity party I try to always keep a positive outlook but i am sure we all have our down days please tell me you do gawd please don't let me have a pity party alone You all inspire me this is a great site full of inspiration and understanding.

2014 is going to be a positive year.

Hi mo..its never a pity party..you are allowed a moan and to sound off! We do have a section on the forum for non spinal cord conditions as iT is fybromyalgia that affects your back.

And boxing day here in the UK as you know Lara the country closes down. In fact I think we close till the 2nd of Jan unless you die

I have recently noticed how bad my spelling is these days. Also how little I notice mrspellings on the internet. As long as the thoughts are coming across it's OK. And yes, I have a strange sense of humor.
