hi guys. Just came across a useful report about weight post spinal injury, food and nutrition. it gives some sensible guidelines about what kind of weight bracket/BMI you should be with different levels of injury. It's the orange report halfway down this page. I hope it's of interest to any of you. Cheers
It’s very nice, Zambi. Thanks. It took me a minute to figure out where to click to open the pdf,...On the top link you give, we scroll down and click on the orange book cover that says “Food, weight and health for people with spinal cord injury, tips, questions & answers”. I agree with the recommendations of fresh fruits and freshly prepared vegetables. Sadly, hospitals, nursing homes, and doctors seldom make those choices available. And that is one of the main reasons that I fought my way out of those institutions. Without fresh fruits and freshly prepared vegetables, those places only offer slow death. (Yes, some aren’t as bad as where I was.)
