About 4 months ago what seemed to happen out of nowhere is I lost my ability to sit. Within a few weeks I gradually started getting a terrible pain coming from my whole sitting area, around the tailbone glutes and hips. When sitting it feels like someone is sticking a sharp knife into me
I've been spending the past 4 months in bed, hoping for it to heal. When I sit it's usually for no longer than 10 minutes at a time, and I make sure to only sit for a few times a day. It's gotten a little bit better, but not much. After doing scans the doctors have no idea what's going on
This is sometimes a problem with pressure- are you pressure releasing?. I am not saying that this is the issue but it may not be helping. Could it be stabbing nerve pain?
Are you managing to do stretches at all and do you have checks for bone density?
🤨 hard to figure out. I kinda know what you mean, randomly I’ll get a pain type feeling in my left sitting bone that goes and comes. First time I felt it I freaked thinking it was a pressure ulcer but It wasn’t. It goes away when I get off of it for a bit. Have you spoken to a doctor or seating specialist?

I know I get pain around my tailbone and coccyx after being up in my chair during the day and I do pressure relief a much every half-hour. Pretty sure mine is nerve pain. I also get pain in my right hip and right lower back when I'm in bed and on my side for a while.
Hi I had been ill for a year with same problem , had scans ,x-ray ,there left scratching there heads , All I can say is it's awful and I am desperate for them to help me, So I just gone to a chiropractor yesterday ,he thinks he can help so had a session ,and have another one next week .. Have to admit felt small relief at first but then later in the evening felt like I had been beaten ,as it's been along time since been able to do what he did ,but its too be expected .. I pray this works and I'm able to get my life back .. Mimm
Mimm, I love chiropractors, but I haven’t been to one since my accident. I also have hip pain. So, please let me know if this eventually gives you some help. Then I will push to get it for myself.

Hi vintage I also suffer with my right hip After this week's appointement ,he had me lay on my stomach which I very rarely do and he applied presure on my hip and stretched the area , it was very stiff and clicked but like he said it hadn't been touched ,it is sore everywhere but I definitely can feel the difference also I'm going to see if it's unblance with my postures causing presure on my sciatic nerve which is causing me pain to sit as my posture is very out and I seem to slightly lean to one side so thinking all this is contributing to everything ,I'm going back next week so yes will definitely keep you up dated ,he also said to stretch excercises 2 X aday .. Mimm 😊
I surely need a chiropractor. I was hit from behind by a car and my left leg was severed against the bumper of my own car. My upper torso was thrown into the open hatchback of my own car, the stunt ending with a faceplant onto the floorboard. How could I NOT need a chiropractor? It’s the hip of the amputated leg that hurts when I lie on that side.
In fact, now almost four years later, I finally got surgery to remove a sharp, square, rock that’s been embedded under my chin all this time.
I get lower back pain and I also get hip pain related to a surgery and muscle tightness from spasms. I found stretching the area really helps. This is how I do it.
I also get pain under my right bum cheek. I think it is nerve pain. I can feel pressure around that area. When I tried the seat cushion with the clay, I was in agony. Changed to a roho and it was greatly improved. I do notice if I don't do pressure relieving and changing positions it gets worse.
