Hi,I need to start using an abdominal binder to help with breathing and blood pressure. Does anybody know where I can buy one from and have any recommendations ?
Hi james0933, I took a quick look on amazon and quite liked that there are reviews for each one that is for sale. Some of our members may be able to advise better but take a look at these, it is a UK site that I googled so if you are from another country then it should re direct you.
hello James. If you are a UK resident you can get one on the NHS. Ask your consultant or Doctor. I wear one on account of my low blood pressure. It helps. The binder I have is quite wide, over 6 inches. I have to wear it in the mornings. You get used to it. In the end it feels comfortable and when you don't have it you really miss it. If you have low blood pressure I would certainly recommend a binder. Believe me I know what I'm talking about. In the mornings my BP can be as low as 54/38. I really struggle. Sometimes I have to be tilted back in my wheelchair.
