We are a team researchers from Canada (Montreal) working in the field of sexual rehabilitation with men and women living with a spinal cord injury. Our research project aims at filling out an existing gap in the research literature dedicated to the sexuality of individuals living with a SCI. More specifically, the study’s goal is to further understand the role of various perceptual (mindfulness, interoception), sexual, psychological (sexual self-image, body image, etc.) and neurophysiological (lesion characteristics) factors involved in the perception of sexual pleasure and orgasm function for individuals living with an SCI, as well as in their overall sexual satisfaction. Research findings will guide the implementation of targeted interventions in the field of sexual rehabilitation for the SCI population. Participation involves completing an online survey on at the following address: bso-validation.limequery.com/132198?lang=en. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win gift cards (Amazon.com) once the research project is completed. Further information can be obtained by contacting the research team at sexualitebm@gmail.com. Thank you for you precious input!
