Like I said before I am a quadriplegic Asia D incomplete and I walk with a walker. My insurance company has labelled me as non catastrophic and therefore given me less of a Permanent Impairment benefit. Has anyone ever heard of a person becoming paraplegic or a quadriplegic and that not being a catastrophic injury? Anyone’s opinion is appreciated.
lthorne, is there an appeal option with the decision?
It seems to work differently here in the UK, disability benefit premiums are calculated on the support that you require rather on the severity of impairment that you suffered. Maybe some of our Canadian members or DJ can give some imput.
