sorry for the long "off" time. Again sorry. After all private problems have been solved (everything is perfect and good with our younger daughter again), new things happened to my life. I thought: SCI, bowel bladder, DVT, PE and hernia, bloodthinner warfarin for lifetime and compressionstockings - are enough. Ha! Not its not enough! Just after learned (or try to live with that) to manage this things after it started 2012, I have a new diagnosis.
Was at the ophthalmologist 2 weeks ago. And now told me, the pigmentary dispersions syndrome is now a pigmentary glaucoma on both eyes. Eye inner pressure (IOP) was 29. Still no damage at the optic nerve. No damage at the Facial field. THANK GOD. Cause of the bloodthinner and other medics, we try first eye drops for helping better pressure IOP. Now every evening this drops (Latanoprost)
This was really a shock for me, cause this time I was/am afraid. Loosing eyesight - cannot imagine (no one can - but we with SCI and so much more things - its more worse). My biggest fear is that one day perhaps I am not allowed to drive my car. My car is the only thing that gives me freedom to get out. My wife has no driving license - so this would be horror.
Just an update. Hoping the eye drops helping in this first step. And perhaps everything is good again. But just an update from me. Just a new diagnosis.
Goisgo- It's so much funs. A medical merry-go-round. That is a carnival ride or can just be a circular platform at a playground, where kids stand on it and push themselves around and around. I started losing my hearing over 35 years ago and am now almost deaf. Skin sensation is not good. Cannot walk. 1.5 years ago I learned that I have Severe macular Degeneration. I knew my eyesight had changed but i did not know it was failing. The diagnosis scared me for the same reasons you were/are afraid but I finally decided I just handle things as they come. So now we have another thing in common!

Hi Goisgo. Nice to see you again. The Off-Topic thread tends to bury posts. People post on top of your post frequently. May I suggest that you ask Admin to move this thread that you have started to somewhere that more people will see it?
I’m thinking that Non Spinal Cord Injury Conditions would be a good home for this Thread.

I always click on the 'recent posts' when I come to the site and read everything new.....its easier than scrolling through the threads

Hello again :-) Yes thank you would be great if you ask Admin for that.
You could either send a private message to Lara or DJ, or you could click on the arrow at the top right corner of your post and choose “report post”. There will be an empty box that appears where you can type your request. Using “report post” makes it easy for Admin to see which post (or thread) you are referring to,
