My short attention span thrives on the nice bite size chunks of info. I have a better understanding of the how and why - but not so much the what to do about its.

I suspect the "what to do" is unique to each of us. The short little thought bubbles left lots of room for my own mind to fill in possibilities of small changes I can make. Simply reminding myself that the pain I feel today is never the same as the pain of a different day helps me relax a bit. Dial down the stress caused by memory. "NONONO please not that again" - well that just automatically tells me I am recreating a remembered experience. Who needs that?
'Nother one that looks interesting is Curable - an app that claims to retrain chronic pain. Free at first then a monthly charge. My sister in law is trying it and claims that 3 weeks in she is already getting some benefit. She gets lots of pain from fibromyalgia and as a lifelong type 1 diabetic she also suffers a lot of peripheral nerve pain. Looks promising.
