I will be moving to belgium on work assignment very soon. I did not travel alone since my SCI. Now, as I am walking with two crutches like a crippled tortoise, I am daring to take up this assignment. I will be in belgium for an year. My company will provide accomodation for two months. I will then have to look accomodation for myself for rest 10 months.
I was told that accessibility is the last thing I could worry about. But if there is someone living in Belgium or know about how things work there.. it would be amazing to get advice..
I will be travelling alone. I will be taking wheelchair at airports. I am from India.
younggun , I have had a quick google and come across this very useful informtaion site regarding accessible travel in Belgium. I remember visiting Belgium a few years back pre SCI and I loved it but in typical pre-SCI fashion, I did not note the accessibility.
Here is the link, it offers some helpful contact numbers too Accessible Belgium
It would be great if you and zouhayr connect, I am sure that he can share some great first hand knowledge.
