Recently I was in town for a few purchases (actually I was on my way home from the dentist) when a beggar attacked me.
I saw her sitting on the sidewalk from afar but had to pass her because there was no other way to the parking lot. As I passed her, she mumbled something in a foreign language. When I was already a few yards away she jumped on her feet, followed me, grabbed my wheelchair by the push handles and tried to tilt me backward.
I managed to regain my balance, turned around and shouted at her loudly and sharpy. Luckily, she was startled and ran away.
Did something similar happen to you? How can you actually defend yourself if the attacker does not run away?
I was in Goodwill with my Daughter and grandsons and a man and woman tweeking out on meth tried to trap me in a isle to rob my phone which was in front of me on a tab grabber. My daughter seen the woman come up behind me and the man try to come in the isle in front of me but my daughter swooped in and got me the hell out of there. What is wrong with people? From then on I keep my devices put up in a pocket I have hidden on my left side.
Just last weekend I was at a work social when this female stranger took my chair and started swerving me around and ended up on the dance floor where she ended up in my lap. Over all it was a great night
