Since my Dura repair in August 2018 I have more pain than before and I try hard to handle it. My pain begins at the lower back, goes down over the buttocks in the hip and the entire left leg down to the big toe. It feels like someone with a sharp knife would pull off my skin.
Conventional medicines could not help me, so now I try everything else there is. From Neurontin and Lyrica I got severe dizziness and I felt slowed in thinking. Unfortunately, Cannabis is still banned in Austria, which will not change quickly in the future. Right now i'm trying Duloxetin and Vitamin B complex. I do not like Duloxetin because of the added Titanium dioxide and because it does not help against the pain.
I ordered Hericium erinaceus, Krill oil and Kratom, which will arrive in a few days. I will try Kratom Borneo Red, Kratom Maeng Da and Kratom Sumatra White.
What about Hericium erinaceus? Did someone try that?
If that does not help, I'll try PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) in combination with ALA.
I read in the forum that PEA has already been a topic, so I'm burning interested if there is new evidence of someone here. Please let me know.
Happy new year to everyone!!!

I think the kratom maeng da will help you. However, a dose (teaspoon) will only relieve you for three hours. You might take it three times on a bad day and be grateful. But more than that is counter-productive and might give you a slight, short-term nausea.
Please see if you can buy a zapper, or if someone has a zapper that you can borrow to see if it works for you. The zapper kills bacteria, viruses, and parasites within your body. So, if your pain is caused by these, you will get an immediate pain reduction when you use it.
I use the SyncroZap from drclarkstore.com in the USA.
I do not know anyone who owns a zapper, but I know a doctor who is very convinced of the effectiveness of zapper and who recommended me to one of them. A year ago I made a bacteria diet after Hulda Clark (gluten-free and with Parozol-oil), which had no effect on my pain. I have already spent a lot of money on unnecessary therapies, but do not (yet) give up the search for pain relief. So I might buy a zapper. If it does not help, it will not hurt (except for my purse).

Jellyfish- If your forum name is true characterization, I share the feeling of being boneless. Mine are like rice cakes. Cannabis also usually slows people's thinking and has n effect on memory. It does offer pain relief to some, but all medications have side effects. I had to cut way back on my usage.
jellyfish,There’s a very cheap, tiny zapper — $35 — at www.ctbusters.com/cart/zappers.html?limit=all I have two of them. They use lower frequencies than my expensive zapper, but I got relief using them. I especially wanted something small and cheap that I could put into an overnight bag for going to a hospital. This way, I wouldn’t risk having my fancy, expensive zapper confiscated (or, ahem, misplaced).
@ Vintage: I've tried all three varieties of kratom, but none of them have turned out to be a "miracle cure." I must finally accept that I have to live with the pain. But I'm not giving up yet. Just a little relief would be nice ....

Hallo Vintage, not yet. I am still undecided. How does the zapper help you? Will the pain actually be less? Is a cheap zapper enough? I have to look for a European provider.

The cheap zapper worked very well for relaxing me and almost putting me to sleep when I had the usual collection of pains and irritations. However, when I tried it out, I wasn’t having the other-worldly, unbearable, pancreatic pain. For that, I’ve always gone straight for my expensive zapper. That level of pain is so bad that I’m in no mood to experiment. So, I can’t say that the cheapie is “just as good”. I don’t know. The cheap zapper that I’m talking about is ctbusters.com for $35. It has lower frequencies than my expensive one. If you find a different cheap one, feel free to send me the link to the description and I’ll do my best to assess its merits.
If bacteria, viruses, or parasites are causing the pain, the zapper will reduce, or even eliminate, the pain. This doesn’t mean that the pain will never come back. In a way, the zapper has become a “diagnostic tool” for me.

Thanks Vintage, I'll come back to that. So far I have not found anything yet. But I'll let you know!
