Today is the 40 yr anniversary of my diving mishap. My prognosis back in 1979 as a complete c6/7 was not good. Would expect to live to 35, unable to have kids, and unable to work. Here I am 56, very healthy, never had one pressure sore or skin ulcer, the father of 2 girls, and worked full time for 33 straight years. I am in a job now I really like alot. I have a great life. I have three female caregivers who keep me healthy. Thankfully there are people in this world willing to be caregivers. I also give a lot of credit for my happiness to weed. It's been awhile since I've posted here but those of you who know me know that I am a big proponent of weed. My doc would be happy to prescribe me a baclofen pump for spasms, vicoden for shoulder pain, percoset for muscle aches, oxy for general pain and anti-depressant, and more. I only need one thing and that's the weed that grows out of mother earth. 33 states now have it available medicinally so hopefully I will not be an outlaw too much longer. I take it after work daily and just enjoy my evenings. Be high people. No spasms, hearty appetite, sleep well, no anxiety, no stress, mood is good. I'm the poster child for why weed should legal.
Here's to the next 40 years. Where is my lighter?...
i totally agree, before weed products entered my daily medicine, my life improved immediately thereafter. where is my cannabis oil vape? and happy 40th
softballdad, I’m glad you’ve had/are having a good life. I’ve never used weed, but do use kratom. Kratom is legal in Texas, though not everywhere. It probably is much less effective than weed. But I’m so glad I have it. Texas has finally lightened up, making CBD oil from hemp available legally. But with no “high” at all,...seems kinda sad. Also, marijuana actually seems to have health benefits, according to cancer patient users. Nice story, softballdad.
