Hey, I'm new to the forum and I guess I just need to talk to someone who understands. I was unfortunate enough to sustain an incomplete spinal cord injury after a botched lumbar puncture, as rare as it may be.
I'm 20 and it's sort of ruined my life. I'm on gabapentin currently to try and mitigate the pain, but I have muted sensation in my legs, I can't stand for more than a few minutes, I've lost any sense of urgency for urination, and I have some urinary incontinence problems as a result. The hospital did an investigation and claimed they did nothing wrong, and I'm just miserable.
On top of this, I already have an autoimmune disease and fibromyalgia so it's just more s*** to deal with. I can't find any info on treatments or even very much info on the type of injury. If anyone has any advice or info, that would be appreciated.
