currently I use shield healthcare for my external cath supplies, for some reason they wont sell to me now because they say I owe $140 medicare deductible from march 2019. not sure what this means? does anyone understand medicare deductibles? do I need to find another supplier or should I try and work out with shield healthcare?
I have a alt supplier but I cant use medicare with them and it is expensive if I have to pay out of pocket wo using medicare every month, any good suppliers out there?
very confused and thanks for any responses.
every month I pay 20% of every purchase so I don't understand where the $140 is coming from. monthly total charge is $90, I pay $18.44, so not understanding why I owe $140 out of nowhere?
Have you talked to your present supplier and asked where that charge comes from? I find it common that suppliers are very late with any news t all. My present supplier always showed the amount I will owe after any catheter purchase, then the changed their system and i do not know the fee until a month or 2 post purchase. Crazy. Let us know their response.
I step in the water, but the water has moved on...

yes, they told me I should contact medicare, I did and they told me medicare isn't showing any issues and it is with the supplier only. I may have to call back and get someone on the line who can explain this charge from the supplier, frustrating, I may just switch suppliers. any recommendations?
