My name is Amelia McGough - Amy to my friends. I'm new here; the pandemic has forced me to spend more time at home so I'm reaching out to others the only way I can.
I don't have a spinal injury but several in my family have; I currently care for my husband, John, who has end-stage congestive heart failure. He's doing well right now but still keeping me busy.
My background is business and non-profit; I've built seven small companies and helped many others get started as well. My non-profit work centers around 3rd-party advocacy of the indigent and disabled as well as assisting women who need to be removed from abusive households. It's been interesting, and rewarding. I have a BA in English from Regent University (2014) and a MA in Christian Leadership from Grand Canyon University (2019). If you need help with any English class, feel free to contact me. I won't write for you, but I'm happy to proofread, suggest, tutor, etc., Currently, I'm a Kentucky licensed agent (life/health) working for Globe Life Family Heritage Division as an insurance educator, helping people understand their policies, making recommendations, and providing supplemental health coverage that pays directly to the policyholder.
I'm looking forward to meeting new people, and being of service if possible. See you on the message and chat threads, guys!
