Spinal Injuries Project

Hi, I hope this post doesn't come across as being rude it ignorant in any way.

I'm a product design student in my second year of university and I'm working on a product to help people with spinal cord injuries.

Does anyone have some issues that they face daily and would want a product (either based on something existing that needs modifications, or something completely new) that could help them? Or, would anyone be able to point me in the direction of some resources or research that could help?

I hope this all makes sense, and I don't come across as being rude.
