Being a t4 para i have use of my arms and hands and have only feeling below my chest. I do sit ups every morning. I try by swinging my arms in front to help me get up. My abs are getting strongerr from my excersize every morning and it is getting easier to sit up.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Try to control your crunch on the way down as much as possible. Once you can, try going down as slow as possible as an exercise.
Most of the exercise I do now is at the gym..mostly my workout involves improving upper body strength and then I use the rower for some time and use a machine to help build up my glutes.
I love going to the gym, I go along on my disable buggy and then use my crutches to get about but its all good
Good stuff ridingdirty, it's good to hear you're seeing improvements by excersizing! I do physiotherapy 3 times a week and when I don't have physio I do self workouts such as wheeling around, going on my leg/arm bike and standing in my standing frame. I've definitely gotten stronger because of excersize and I feel like it's always slowly improving.
Been out of it for a while due to health but back into it again.
Workout isn't for the faint hearted, 3 days on, 1 off, then 3 on again, in and out of the gym in 2 hours but it's intense. Standard bodybuilding workout using different muscle groups on each day.
I won't mention diet or supplementation or we'll be here all day.
As long as you do something, it's better than nothing and being physically in shape can add confidence to ones being.

I need to get my act together. The last 3months I've really let my workouts go. A combination of things and I fell out of my routine. I was maintaining well with three workouts a week, lately it's been here and there and not as hard as it should be. It takes me just over an hour for a good workout and still I can't seem to fit them in. It's one of the most important things I need to do to remain upright. Today is a workout day, here I go.. Maybe I can use this thread to help get me motivated again.
wolverine, great to have you back! How are you feeling now? Working out does take quite a bit of determination like you said but once you start doing it, you'll feel much better! I've started to go on my MotoMed leg bike every morning for a minimum of 30 minutes and it's a good feeling knowing I'm doing something good for myself
kilg0retr0ut, I was still typing out my post while you posted but it's great that you're getting back to it and I say go for it! Lets start today and see if you can continue everyday
I need to get my butt back into shape...ive not been to the gym now for ten days...and i feel less strong and fit already ...i love the feeling when ive been and worked out.
