I thought I would update this with a reason the two rims look different-- they're bicycle rims! One was on the front and one on the rear. They guy who owned my wheelchair (whom I have decided is named Legs now) used bicycle rims instead of spending extra and getting matching wheelchair ones.

Really? I never saw bicycle rims that had quick-release mechanisms, but maybe the high-end ones do. To me, it appeared that you had an LX and a Spox, which have a different hub width and number of spokes, but are both quality wheels for wheelchairs. The wheel sizes would have to be the same to work. I kind of like the asymmetry--messes with people's heads, and you don't actually have to look at your wheels, at least while in the chair!

They don't look like they could have been bike wheels as wavewolf has said. You should ask "Legs" what kinda bike he got the wheels from!

Oops... my post didn't make sense. My wheelchair's name is Legs haha.

He re-did the bearings and put quick-release axles in the center instead of requiring the double-sided axle needed for a bicycle.

wavewolf, both the hubs say Spox on them.

From the photo I couldn't tell the number of spokes, and it appeared to be 12 and 18. There are two styles of Spox, which is an excellent wheel. Here is Spinergy's product info:
