I am looking to purchase a new wheel chair and am looking for some recommendations. I am looking for a ultra light weight ridged frame chair. I want to stay away from Quicky. I have a Q7 and have nothing but problems with it.
God Bless

I cant offer much advice as im not a regular user but i have used DJ's and it is very easy to self wheel and feels amazingly light, its quite speedy too .....especially compared to the very basic one i have at home .

I have not found a new chair yet. I've not heard back from Quicky about my frame breaking on my Q7. I have re-engineered my topend to get it to work OK till I decide on a new chair. Still looking for opinions. I will NOT by another Quicky for sure. All I want is a reliable ridged L frame chair.
God Bless

andrew, my first chair is also a Quickie Q7, and I'm with you on the frustrations! I didn't break mine, but the damn thing is so heavy! And whose idea was it to make a chair out of aluminum?!?!?! Thing cannot take a beating. I have a Quickie Ti Titanium, but sadly they don't make them anymore I'm in love with the damn thing! When I qualify for a new chair, I will probably go with a TiLite since they are very similar to the Quickie Ti, and I've heard nothing but good things about them. At any rate, I would NEVER get a Q7 again! I'll always go with a chair that has a narrow spot for my feet too. I notice most chairs do not have a narrow foot rest and my legs flop around in the wide space. And nothing but a titanium rigid frame and Spinergys for this girl!
