Well tomorrow morning I have a appointment with my podiatrist at 9.45am, he is going to do a procedure on my left big toe, I don't know what the procedure is called I will let you know when I get home. Anyway he is going to anesthetize my toe and then slice the whole side of my toenail from top to bottom and remove it. We are doing this because it is causing me quite a few issues, it's always causing my toe to bleed because it is growing very quickly. It actually is curled in all the way along. im not really looking forward to this as my toe will be bandaged for up to 8 weeks and apparently going to be prone to infection, lol, and I'm going to have to wear a funny slipper thing. Being a type 2 diabetic and smoker, I'm paranoid about my feet. Don't really want the doctors to start chopping away at my feet. Will let you all know how it goes.
The procedure is called a Partial nail avulsion, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Now I know what to expect if my toenails don't stop! I will wear a blindfold if I ever have to get that done! I can't handle the sight of blood. I almost vomited from the photo of your toenail!

Damnit Butiki If I ever had to do that I'll make sure they knock me out for at least a month!

Good grieve DJ, it wasn't that bad, absolutey painless, except when he injected the anesthetic, I nearly went through the roof.
