Well I spent yesterday afternoon in our local ED because I have had a very bad pain in my left calf, like a continual stabbing throbbing pain, very uncomfortable. So they took bloods, pocked and prodded me then I had an ultra sound and thank goodness nothing there. The pain we discovered is because my left leg rubs against my wheelchair and has actually made a small dent in my leg. My old cushion had edges on it that kept my legs in together but my new cushion is flat. So I will now have to be more aware of where my legs are rubbing, but I'm very happy it was not a DVT
Oh good that it wasnt Butiki...ive had them and the 6 months on rat poison and checking your blood is thin enough every week for 6 months is not fun lol
Glad you got it checked out Butiki, it's good that it isn't a DVT Be sure to keep an eye out on pressure being put onto your body, the last thing we need is something like a DVT or pressure sore!
