Yeah Lαrα, I think people shouldn't be allowed to use it when they're recovering from their injury because it'll only slow down the process.
To be honest DJ the consultants should really make that understood to newly injured people because when i was in rehab Baclofen was given out like it was sweets and im not sure anybody knew what they were taking

:)I started reading shortly after I was home on the different meds they had me on. Much of what I read convinced me that zero meds would be my best chance at recovery. I got some great results but I can't say if it was because of this. I do feel exercise is best thing you can do for your recovery. 110%, and then some.
kilg0retr0ut exercise and my continuation of it even after the supposed 'recovery' time is what progressed my improved function so i agree with you totally.
One thing i dont agree with here in the UK at rehab units is that when they realise someone is a complete quad they do not continue their physio.i think this is shocking and so wrong
I had friends in rehab who believed that there was no point in having physiotherapy sessions after maybe attending several because they were told there was no point. It this stage their physio ends so all they have is Occupational Therapy.
What right does a para have to physio that a quad dosent?! Why do they not differentiate and use their brains and provide FES equipment, work and stimulate those muscles..
