Williams, now 54, was paralyzed from the waist down on the morning of Nov. 9, 2009, while trying to help an elderly woman whose purse had been snatched while she was shopping inside the Kmart store at 1403 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. That split-second, life-altering decision to help a stranger left the once-vibrant mother of two totally dependent on her children and 75-year-old mother, Brenda Bey, for the most basic of life’s functions.

Good job there are still good people like that out there though. We are vulnerable like the elderly now because we won't be able to run after them if they try to grab something from us.
Hopefully she will get a good settlement to help pay for all her medical bills.

Oh damn ive just read this DJ... The guy ran over her... Its just a real sad sign of the times...how one human being can have so little care or compassion for other is beyond me totally.

The life of this lady will never be the same and yet says that she would still do it again....now thats amazing..Karma will bite the ass of the guy who did this.....its just a matter of time
