The user backs up in the wheelchair up the ramp, and positions the back wheel in the middle of the rollers, the front wheels then lock into place. There is a brake lever on the user’s right that locks the front roller and allows access and exit from the rollers.
He/she uses the same pushing/pulling motion to propel their wheelchair. Great for rehabilitation and for users who are learning how to use a wheelchair, but importantly can also be used for an intense cardio workout which is so important. The ramp and platform has raised plates to prevent tipping, and a safety frame that encloses the rear of the platform.
Ha i know what you mean wavewolf...im a cheat..i like the idea of this because i dont need to go up slopes or curbs...in fact il get nowhere but a little fitter! lol
